Fred's head has the right dimensions for a size 4 body and that is what we will make. See the article Body Dimensions for Size 3 and 4 Figures for a discussion of body sizes.
Fred's dimensions are close to the size 4 specifications in the article. I used the templates for the shoulder and seat pieces from Mike's book, which have slightly different dimensions than those in the article. I used the arm and leg lengths from the size 4 example in the article.
My own version of Fred, Jayjay, whose picture is in the Rogues Gallery, uses the Conrad Hartz size 4 body shown in the article.
